Mayor Strike Revilla Leads DepEd-Bacoor ManCom Meeting, Vows Stronger Support for Education

Bacoor City, Cavite — August 28, 2025  Mayor Strike B. Revilla delivered a rousing keynote address during the Division Management Committee (ManCom) Meeting organized by the Department of Education–Bacoor, reaffirming his administration’s full commitment to strengthening the city’s educational landscape. The event gathered school heads, division officials, and key stakeholders to discuss strategic directions for Bacoor’s public schools.

Held at Revilla Hall, the meeting served as a platform for reviewing operational updates from the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID), School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD), and the Office of the Schools Division Superintendent (OSDS). Mayor Revilla, joined by Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista Mendiola and SDS Dr. Babylyn Pambid, emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration in achieving inclusive, high-quality education.

> “Patuloy po tayong magtatayo ng mas maraming paaralan upang matiyak na ang bawat batang Bacooreño ay may akses sa dekalidad at inklusibong edukasyon,” Mayor Revilla declared, drawing applause from the audience. He also expressed his full support for the Local School Board and DepEd-Bacoor’s ongoing programs.

The Mayor’s message resonated with the city’s flagship advocacy Strike As One, reinforcing Bacoor’s commitment to building a future where every learner feels empowered and at home. His call to action underscored the role of education in shaping civic identity and driving long-term development.

The ManCom Meeting also featured a Superintendent’s Hour, regional updates, and collaborative planning sessions aimed at enhancing school operations and learner outcomes. Participants praised the city’s proactive stance in addressing infrastructure gaps and promoting teacher development.

As the meeting concluded, Mayor Revilla left the crowd with a powerful reminder: “As We Strike As One – Dahil sa Bacoor, At Home Ka Dito!”—a rallying cry for unity, progress, and the enduring value of education in every Bacooreño home.
