Mayor Alex Advincula Strengthens Ties with Imus BJMP to Boost Jail Security and Rehabilitation Programs  

Imus City, Cavite — Mayor Alex Advincula formally reinforced the partnership between the City Government of Imus and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Imus during a New Year’s Call, highlighting the city’s commitment to public safety and inmate rehabilitation.  

The meeting focused on key areas such as jail security, inmate welfare, and rehabilitation initiatives, underscoring the importance of providing persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) with opportunities for reform and reintegration into society. Mayor Advincula emphasized that collaboration between the local government and BJMP is vital in maintaining peace and order while ensuring humane treatment and rehabilitation for inmates.  

“Our goal is not only to safeguard our community but also to give our fellow Imuseños who are in custody a chance to rebuild their lives,” Mayor Advincula stated.  

The strengthened coordination also paves the way for enhanced inter-agency collaboration, ensuring that the city’s security and rehabilitation programs remain effective and sustainable.
