PhilHealth YAKAP Caravan for incoming Freshmen at Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmarinas, Cavite
The Local Health Insurance Office (LHIO) Dasmariñas brought essential primary care services closer to incoming freshmen through the PhilHealth Yaman ng Kalusugan Program (YAKAP) Caravan held at Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas, Cavite, on April 21, 2026.
During the PhilHealth YAKAP Caravan, LHIO Dasmariñas conducted on-site orientations on Universal Health Care and PhilHealth YAKAP. Services also included registration to the National Health Insurance Program, along with the immediate issuance of Member Data Records and PhilHealth ID cards. Parents and students were likewise assisted in selecting and being assigned to their preferred YAKAP provider, ensuring continuous guidance and support in accessing their health benefits.
The PhilHealth YAKAP Caravan is part of PhilHealth’s ongoing efforts to expand access to healthcare and strengthen member engagement at the grassroots level, particularly within local communities.
