General Trias City – In a significant step towards sustainable urban development, Mayor Jonjon Ferrer and Vice Mayor Jonas Labuguen recently met with representatives from the Land Bank of the Philippines to discuss strategic projects that will further enhance the city’s infrastructure and public services.

Among the priority initiatives presented during the meeting are:

– The construction of a new City Hall, designed to improve efficiency in governance and service delivery.

– The rehabilitation of the General Trias Sports Park, ensuring modern facilities for sports, recreation, and community events.

– The upgrading of the General Trias Public Market, aimed at supporting local commerce and providing a better marketplace for vendors and residents.

– The development of the Himlayang General Trias–Alingaro Annex, which will expand public facilities to meet the growing needs of the community.

Mayor Ferrer emphasized that these projects reflect the city government’s commitment to good governance, public service, and infrastructure development, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure; SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals). Vice Mayor Labuguen echoed this vision, highlighting the importance of partnerships with institutions like Land Bank in realizing long-term progress for every GenTriseño.

“Patuloy po tayong naghahanap ng mga oportunidad para maisakatuparan ang mga proyektong magpapalakas sa ating imprastraktura at magpapabuti sa paghahatid ng serbisyo publiko para sa bawat GenTriseño,” Mayor Ferrer stated.

This collaboration underscores General Trias City’s proactive approach in building a more progressive, inclusive, and resilient community.  (CTJ Team)
