Barangay Rescue Olympics Successfully Held in Rosario
Rosario, Cavite – July 17, 2026 – The Municipality of Rosario proudly celebrated the successful conduct of the Barangay Rescue Olympics at SM City Rosario, highlighting the skills, preparedness, and teamwork of local barangays in various rescue and emergency response challenges.
Mayor Jose Voltaire Ricafrente Jr., together with Vice Mayor Bamm Gonzales, led the awarding ceremony and commended the participants for their dedication to disaster readiness and community safety. The event underscored the importance of unity and collective action in times of calamities and emergencies.
Barangay Bagbag II emerged as the Champion, followed by Barangay Bagbag I in 1st Place, Barangay Poblacion in 2nd Place, and Barangay Sapa IV in 3rd Place. Each team demonstrated outstanding performance, reflecting the strong spirit of cooperation and resilience within Rosario’s communities.
