Women’s Welfare Program in the Municipalities of Rosario and Ternate Cavite.

In a remarkable display of dedication to women’s empowerment, Governor Athena Tolentino spearheaded the third leg of the Women’s Welfare Program in the municipalities of Rosario and Ternate, Cavite on November 20, 2024. This impactful initiative provided Php 2,000 in cash assistance to 2,000 women in each municipality, underscoring the governor’s unwavering commitment to uplifting women and fostering progress across the province.

The program which exemplifies inclusivity and support, brought together key local leaders. In Rosario, Governor Tolentino was joined by Vice Mayor Bam Gonzales, members of the Sangguniang Bayan, and 1st District Board Member Rommel Enriquez, the Chairman of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan Committee on Social Services, Family, Women, Children, and Elderly. In Ternate, Vice Mayor Salvador C. Gubio Jr. lent his support, reflecting a unified effort to prioritize the welfare and rights of women in Cavite.

Governor Tolentino’s initiative is more than just financial assistance; it symbolizes a broader mission to empower women as active contributors to their communities.
