Mayor Laurence Umbe Arca Champions MSME Growth in Maragondon Through DTI Cavite Financing Seminar
Maragondon, Cavite — The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Cavite, in partnership with Negosyo Center Maragondon, successfully held the seminar “Fueling Your Business Dream: Expanding Financing Opportunities for MSMEs” on July 9, 2026, at the TESDA Building, Brgy. Bucal I, Maragondon.
The initiative was strongly supported by Mayor Laurence Umbe Arca, who emphasized the local government’s commitment to empowering micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) as vital drivers of economic growth and community development. In his message, Mayor Arca underscored the importance of accessible financing programs and sustainable business practices in strengthening Maragondon’s entrepreneurial sector.
The seminar featured resource speakers from Small Business Corporation (SB Corp.), Bangko Mabuhay, OUR Bank of Cavite, and Meralco, who shared insights on business loan programs, financial products, energy efficiency solutions, and digitalization strategies to help MSMEs thrive in a competitive market.
Mayor Arca, together with Councilor Miguel Arca, expressed gratitude to DTI Cavite for continuously bridging MSMEs with opportunities that foster innovation, resilience, and long-term sustainability.
