Mayor SM Matro Brings Governance Closer to the People Through “Kalye Serye”
Tanza, Cavite – In a unique approach to public service, Mayor Archangelo “SM” Matro took his office to the streets on February 12, 2026, to personally connect with residents of Barangay Paradahan I. Through the program “Kalye Serye with Mayor SM Matro,” the local chief executive engaged directly with Tanzeños outside the confines of City Hall, listening to their concerns, receiving requests, and providing immediate action.
Mayor Matro emphasized that the initiative is designed to make government more accessible and responsive. “Public service should not be limited to the four walls of an office. By being present in the community, we ensure that no Tanzeño is left behind in receiving care, support, and solutions,” he stated.
The program reflects the administration’s commitment to Serbisyo at Malasakit, strengthening the bond between the local government and its constituents. By holding office in the streets, Mayor Matro demonstrates that governance is best delivered where the people are—close to their homes, workplaces, and everyday lives.
