Mayor Strike Revilla Strengthens Bacoor’s Grassroots Sports Through Partnership with Coach Joseph A. Hate

Mayor Strike B. Revilla reaffirmed Bacoor City’s dedication to nurturing young athletes as he welcomed renowned sports mentor Coach Joseph A. Hate in a courtesy visit at the Office of the Mayor.  

The meeting, facilitated by Sports Director Michael Ver Comaling, focused on enhancing the Grassroots Athletes Program, a flagship initiative of the city aimed at empowering Bacooreño youth through sports.  

Mayor Revilla emphasized that Bacoor’s investment in sports is not only about producing champions but also about instilling discipline, teamwork, and resilience among the city’s future leaders. He expressed gratitude for Coach Hate’s willingness to share his expertise and guidance, noting that such collaborations strengthen the city’s vision of sustainable sports development.  

 Key highlights of the discussion included:  

– Expanding access to training facilities and opportunities for young athletes  

– Strengthening support systems and resources for grassroots sports programs  

– Building long-term initiatives to ensure continuity and growth for future generations  

Mayor Revilla underscored that Bacoor’s commitment goes beyond short-term projects, aiming instead to create a lasting sports culture where every aspiring athlete has the chance to grow, compete, and excel.  

This partnership marks another milestone in Bacoor’s journey toward becoming a hub for sports excellence in Cavite, with Mayor Revilla leading the charge in ensuring that the city’s youth are given every opportunity to shine.
