Imuseños United: Strengthening Peace and Security Together

Imus, Cavite — The City of Imus has once again reaffirmed its commitment to peace and security through the Memorandum of Understanding for the Declaration of Stable Internal Peace and Security (SIPS). This renewed pledge highlights the unity between the local government and its citizens in ensuring a safe and harmonious community.

Led by Mayor Alex Advincula, together with Vice Mayor Homer Saquilayan and the entire City Council of Imus, the recommitment ceremony underscored the importance of collaboration with various agencies and sectors. Their collective action demonstrates that peace is not merely an aspiration but a shared responsibility upheld daily.

Mayor Advincula emphasized that the recommitment to SIPS is a vital step in maintaining public trust and confidence in the city’s leadership. Vice Mayor Saquilayan added that the strong support of the City Council provides the foundation for implementing programs focused on safety and order.

Through this agreement, the City of Imus will continue to strengthen partnerships with law enforcement agencies, barangay officials, and community stakeholders to ensure lasting peace.  

The reaffirmation of SIPS serves as a reminder that peace is achieved through unity—a principle that both the government and the people of Imus stand firmly behind, securing a safer future for every Imuseño.
