National roads declared in Zambales, Cavite, Batangas, Cotabato — DPWH
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has declared new national roads in the provinces of Zambales, Cavite, and Batangas in Luzon, and Cotabato in Mindanao.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the DPWH said Saturday the new national roads would “pav[e] the way for improved connectivity and promote economic growth.”
The newly declared national roads are:
Zambales
* Subic Bypass Road (7 kilometers)
* Rizal Avenue (523 meters)
Under the jurisdiction of Zambales 2nd District Engineering Office in Region 3 (Central Luzon)
Cavite
* Imus-Bacoor Link Road (4.16 kilometers)
Under the jurisdiction of Cavite 3rd District Engineering Office, Region 4-A (Calabarzon)
Batangas
* Batangas City-San Pascual-Bauan Diversion Road (8.9 kilometers)
* Star Tollway-Pinamucan Bypass Road (4.76 kilometers)
Under the jurisdiction of Batangas 2nd District Engineering Office, Region 4-A (Calabarzon)
Cotabato
* Midsayap Diversion Road (7.76 kilometers)
Under the jurisdiction of Cotabato 1st District Engineering Office, Region 12 (Soccsksargen)
